Although the Blue Card is still valid throughout Australia, they are no longer being issued.
The national White Card has replaced the old Blue Card, Red Card and Green Card. If you have lost your Blue Card, you may be able to obtain a replacement card by contacting the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that originally issued your card, however it is likely that all Blue Card holders will be required by law to upgrade to a White Card in the not too distant future. For this reason, if you have lost your Blue Card we advise that you apply for the new national White Card.
The National White Card is valid throughout Australia and can be obtained quickly and easily online for a nominal fee.
In the case of a lost White Card, the issuing RTO should be able to re-issue the card for a small fee. The new card can generally be replaced almost immediately.
If we issued your original White Card, we require a formal request via email for a replacement. Please send your full name, date of birth and address, and reason you require a replacement to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will reply by email with our Replacement Card Policy and once the necessary documentation has been received, the new card number will be emailed to you, usually within an hour. The replacement card will be sent in the next available post.
