DESCRIPTION:This unit (HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.\n\n \n\nThis unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR\, in a range of situations\, including community and workplace settings.\n\n \n\nUpon successful completion Narbil Training will issue a Statement of Attainment for:\n\n \n\n• HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation\n\n \n\nIt is recommended that CPR refresher training be undertaken yearly. \n\n \n\nNote: It is a requirement of this course that learners are physically capable of performing uninterrupted CPR for at least 2 minutes on a CPR manikin placed on the floor.
