Is my High Risk Work Licence recognised in every State/Territory of Australia?
Yes. All High Risk Work Licences are recognised and accepted in each State & Territory of Australia.
How do I obtain a High Risk Work Licence?
Step 1 – Enrol in the class of HRWL you are seeking with a Registered Training Organisation
Step 2 – Complete formal training and assessment in the unit of competency that is recognised by the HRWL. A statement of attainment will be issued by the RTO on successful completion.
Step 3 – Sit the mandated national assessment for the class of HRWL. Bookings for assessments need to be made at least three business days in advance. Successful applicants will receive a notice of satisfactory assessment from the accredited Assessor.
Step 4 – Submit your application, online at www.worksafe.qld.gov.au/ (QLD Applicants only). This must be done within 60 days of receiving your notice of satisfactory assessment. There is a licencing fee that must be paid on application. Contact your regulator for schedule of fees
Step 5 – Receive your HRWL in the mail
