Provide First Aid

This unit (HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid) describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty.

The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

It is recommended that First Aid refresher training be undertaken 3 yearly.

Please note: Candidates MUST be able to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (5 cycles of both compressions and ventilations) on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor.

You can complete your First Aid course with Narbil Training; upon successful completion Narbil Training will issue 3 Statements of Attainment:

  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
  • HLTAID010 – Provide basic Emergency Life Support
  • HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Duration: 1 Day – Training & Assessment

This First Aid course is Nationally Recognised Training
